A i5-4460 or better should be great. I have my 770 paired with a i5-4570 and it's doing great.

Depends on what motherboard you have. If you have a Z97 then 4670K will be the best. If you have H97, then 4460 will be the best. If you have Z170 then 6600K will be the best, and so on

 

If you have no motherboard and no CPU and no RAM, then I'd suggest going with Z170, 6600K and DDR4, or Z97, 4670K and DDR3, if you have lower budget
