Did BestBuy buy Tigerdirect's inventory? And that was after Tigerdirect bought Circuit City. But yea, I had a BBB case open against them. Stay FAR away. Besides, Tigerdirect is to Newegg what Bing is to Google.

They sold me a refurbished Xbox Elite as new. They forgot to properly mark the page. RROD happened after a week, called Tigerdirect, they said call Microsoft, Microsoft looked up the SN and found it was refurbed (Box had account assigned to it previously) so they said they wouldn't fix it. Not that I would have to pay, but they wouldn't fix it AT ALL and told me to go back to Tiger. I asked if I could send it to someone else and pay them to fix it=nope. I asked if I could open it and try to fix it=If I did, I could be banned.  Tiger said it was a new machine so warranty is covered by Microsoft. I finally opened the machine and found it was refurbished and poorly done. They used metal washers to hold the heat sink on and shorted out the CPU. Had a big black burn mark across it.  Long story short, BBB case, no one would fix it and it now functions as a spice rack.
