AMD's Processor Shift: The Future Really is Fusion

Read this a few days ago, really is a very well written article.

Also seems to suggest that even though AMD wants to release 8 core steamroller for server and enthusiast PC global foundries 28nm process is not yet in a position to deliver, so AMD is stalling by hanging onto the AM3+ piledriver products, 5Ghz etc...

could you at least change the title and make it your own? It's easy to copy paste the title, link the article and throw in a quote. C'mon...

AMD in the CPU market are pretty much dead.

Not really. They survived the bulldozer debacle and were in a worse position than they are in now. While they don't look like they are going to be beating Intel anytime soon, they also don't look like they are going to die.

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Intel just releasing the same performing chips from now on. Or maybe just re-brands of Haswell. AMD please for the love of Darwin we need you to get back into shape and release a CPU that slaps Intel in the face. We need Intel to wake up and release better chips.
