Next game recommendation

What would you guys suggest between the following two games. I'm trying to play one of them and I don't want to buy both and pay $60 each. 

 

Should I go with Rise of the Tomb Raider or Dying Light The Following?

 

I'd appreciate the help. They both look like good games but I figured let me ask you guys.

I'll try to avoid Day light unless you really liked Dead Island (not many did).

@Castdeath97 Nah I can't say I was a big fan of Dead Island either. Just the parkour and crafting stuff looks fun.

 

@valdyrgramr Thanks for the info. I'm a much bigger uncharted fan then I am of Tomb Raider but the wait for the next uncharted is just too damn long. To your point, I think I might enjoy Tomb Raider a lot more for that reason.

To be fair I stopped playing Dead Island after 5 hours, the game was boring as hell, Dying Light is completely the opposite, for me it's the best game of 2015. I think it's that good. And apparently The Following made it even better. 

Haven't played the Rise of the Tomb Raider but if it's anything like Tomb Raider 2013 then it's also worth considering.

It comes down to what genre you want. Steam Easter Sale is coming soon so I'll figure both of them will drop a bit, maybe not that much but I have a feeling Dying Light will be cheaper since the basic game has been out for a year. Tomb Raider was released very recently on PC.

I fucking hated dead island however I am really enjoying dying light for some reason, I think it's just the parkour system, it brings back good memories of playing mirrors edge, can't wait for catalyst ahhh, I really need that game soon it looks freaking great, only got to play it for a short while at gamescom... dying light the following is quite a good piece of DLC, however I would not really get it until you've finished the normal game first. the following has the same map size as harran(the normal games map), it also has vehicles so there is more of a loot element to it as you get more upgrades to your car. I think that dying light gets really good when you're playing on nightmare mode, it's really hard but really rewarding, you pretty much have to get the headshot otherwise you're fucked.

I stopped playing both dead island and dying light after about 5 hours of boredom.  Somehow I'm still interested in the following enhanced edition.  Possibly get it when it goes on mega-sale.

BOTH are amazing games...they are in fact my 2 favorite pc games so far along with GTA 5...i think tomb raider is overall a better game but it's shorter too...and you should be able to find dying light for pretty cheap...

Beautiful. Thanks guys! I'll wait for the Easter sale and pick Dying Light up as well. Tomb Raider is good so far but my neighbors might've lost some respect for me cuz all they hear is Laura grunting and moaning.
