Okay thanks :D

Hello, I am working on a computer build for a friend. We are trying to keep it as close to $500 as possible. I have already built a computer here, but I am thinking that the CPU may be way under-powered for the graphics card, and I am also trying to find a different mobo that can match our red and black color scheme. Thanks in advance.

The G3258 won't cut it on many newer games that do not support dual cores. I would reccomend the i3 4160. As for the mobo, aeshteticles tend not to be a priority at this price point. Make it functional and then make it pretty.

EDIT: Coirsair low-end PSU's aren't the greatest. Go EVGA or XFX instead

Ok, thank you. I will have to try to convince my friend (who is very new to this whole thing) that aesthetics dont matter:P

It's not that aesthetics don't matter, but for a small budget like this he shouldn't be prioritizing aesthetics.

Sorry, one last question. Will I need to update the BIOS before using the computer?
