I found a deal on a HP Notebook 15 - R200NW for 1300 PLN (~333 USD) { I live in Poland where sales tax is ~20%}, where it normally goes for 1500+ PLN (~385 USD), but I don't know if the laptop is worth it (price to performance).

Notebook specs:

- WLED 15.6" HD (1366 x 768)

- Intel N3540 (2,16 GHz)

- 4 GB RAM (upgradable)

- Nvidia GeForce 820M

- 750 GB HDD

- Windows 8.1

I would like it to replace my current PC (specs in signature), but as far as I have seen the difference won't be huge.

I'm going to college soon and I would like to buy a laptop anyway and other laptops in Poland usually start at around 1000 PLN with a low end Intel chip and integrated graphics, that's why I think it's a good deal.

If you want a polish PC website than this is the place with prices in PLN and that I usually buy from (deal is not on this page):

Isn't that CPU a Dual Core? Many games don't run on dual cores anymore, if you want to game. Anything else should be very fine with this system.

My current PC has a dual core and I've seen people play gta v with my system specs

CPU performance may be a slight improvement but GPU performance is definitely a downgrade. The 820M is still Fermi, below your 550 Ti.

So I'm guessing that the performance overall will be about the same?

For gaming, it probably won't be too hot, even worse in most cases, but for average use, it might be a small upgrade.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.
