Do you mean you have a splitter on the case (SYS/Chassis) fan header and 2 fans plugged or the CPU fan plugged directly to a case (SYS/Chassis) fan header?

The case fan plug, which is connected to the CPU fan header, branches off into: a) the fan itself, b) a header for daisy-chaining. So my CPU fan is plugged into the header branch.

afaik, daisy chaining is a series connection, what I think you are describing is a parallel connection (correct me if I'm wrong) so it will have an effect on the current delivered to the fans meaning a drop in fan speed for each fan at a set voltage.

Daisy chaining is just a general term for having stuff powerd in a strip type fashion. Like Christmas lights are a daisy chain and so are the sata power connectors that go down from one line.

If I use words like probably or most likely, it is because I dislike certainty. These words can probably be omitted and the sentence read as a certainty.

Still a parallel connection, there'll be a drop in your CPU fan speeds, unless you increase the voltage supplied.

Christmas lights are wired up in series...so we mean the same thing.

Christmas lights

Are half a set in series then both haves are parallel.

Sorry for the stupid format, I'm on mobile
