I am 17 years old and I have not build a PC before I'm trying to build one but I'm not sure if I assembled my parts correctly. I do not wish to spent more than $1000. I live in Singapore BTW.

Here are the parts:

CPU: Intel i7 2600k or i5 3570k

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus

Motherboard: MSI Z77A-G45

Memory: 8GB (2 x 4GB)  G.Skill Ares DDR3-1866 Memory

Storage: Samsung 840 Series 120 GB 2.5'' SSD

Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5'' 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 760 DirectCU II

Wireless Network Adapter: ASUS PCE-N15 802.11b/g/n  PCI Express X1 Wi-Fi Adapter

Case: Cooler Master 431 Plus ATX Mid Tower Case

PSU: Corsair CX 600 M  Power Supply

Optical Drive: ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer

Here's the link: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1BHif (Not sure if its correct)

Since this is the first time I am building a PC I want to make sure everything is set up correctly. After watching Linus's build guide I am still a little confused. I am not sure if the Power supply has enough cables for my build. I'm a little new to building a PC that is why I need your help. Any recommendations, suggestions and tips u want to give me I'm more than happy to take. Thanks.

What things are you not too sure about?

Everything in your list works with each other fine. You might want to reduce the speed of the Ram down to 1600 Mhz because there isn't much difference between 1866 and 1600. Use that money somewhere else.

Setup: i5 4670k @ 4.2 Ghz, Corsair H100i Cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB Ram @ 1600 Mhz, MSI Z87-GD65 Motherboard, Corsair GS700 2013 edition PSU, MSI GTX 770 Lightning, Samsung EVO 120 SSD + 2TB&1TB Seagate Barracudas, BenQ XL2411T Monitor, Sennheiser HD 598 Headphones + AntLion ModMic 4.0

It usually helps when you tell the community what budget you're on and what you intend to do with the computer.
looks fine to me.

I'm building this as I am transferring from console to PC. I heard that a PC has a overall better performance than the consoles. I'm not sure if the PSU has enough cables for my Motherboard,GPU and the wireless adapter. The power supply Linus use in the $1500 build guides has more cables. However' it is more expensive. I wonder if this build guide has enough cables for the entire build?

Good to hear you're coming over to the light side, yes we do have better (gaming) performance.

Be advised that the new AMD graphics cards are coming out and will offer superior performance, it might be worth the wait but it's your call.

For the PSU cables, I'll look into it when I have more time, unless someone beats me to it.

Feel free to PM me if I happen to forget all about it.

From what it looks like you'll be using all your SATA power connectors. One for the SSD, one for the HDD and one for the CD Drive. I think it should be just about fine.

I"ve never been paying attention to the AMD cards. I did most of the research on the Nvidia cards. If the 9000 series comes out at that time the prices may be more expensive.

AMD cards are good. and AMD releasing new cards may lower prices on existing cards.

the PSU u chose is non modular. What's the difference between a modular and a non modular PSU??

you can unplug cables that you won't use.
