Hi

i am in the process of build a gaming computer and i have alredy picked a graphics card and r9 380 4g ram and for my cpu i have 150 euro budget and i was thinking in buying an AMD fx 8320E 3.2Ghz but in reviews people say AMD cpu suck compare to intel so should i save some more money and buy a intel cpu or go with amd.

The games that i will play will probably be mostly mmorpg or moba and  some GTA V.

You'll have a better experience on GTA V with Intel. Save up a little bit and you can grab a i5 4460.

Well that Graphics card wouldn't be bottlenecked by the FX 8320e, but none of AMD's CPU are actually good for gaming or even meant for it at all unless your on an extremely tight budget ($300-$400) and can only afford an Athlon 860K or an APU.

It really depends on your uses....im a proud of AMD and yea i would say intel is better but OVER MY BUDGET,,,i mean we all would be happy if we would have a 3960x in our rigs for the frekin half the price of it is and it wont bottlenec but you have to carefully watch the mobo specs cause of the TDP for example you can put a FX-9590 Into a frekin 95WTDP mobo like the M5A7 maybe to consider the 140 but i wont accept the riscs of it it can bur your board out but in my case i like amd thy are heck of a cheaper than intel tooooo waaayy too sometimes overpriced cpus and i just needed a big ass mobo that will matc my colors in my sistem like the crosshair V formula Z thats what i have but in mainstream use AMD is enought for more like not gaming as much you can game with it but no 3D stuff no video editing and the most of AM3Plus sockets still works on the same architecture and SAME SAME SAME and the only think thats diferent is the clocks and number of phisical cores so yea

Look, a CPU is only over priced if for example it performs 16% better at a cost of 17% or higher than another cheaper CPU. When you take that into consideration, the CPU are being priced accordingly to performance (though supply & demand also has some play in the price)

Well my i5 4440 (which cost $250 AUD at the start of 2014, because the US doesn't have a sales tax unlike Australia, AKA they are cheaper in the US) didn't break my budget at all, and I was at the time only earning $450 a week (and only had about $50 to spare after sorting out other expenses).....

i5 4440, its a locked CPU. And its still very good for gaming. Though since then I've upgraded it to a 4790K as I was able to get one (off Ebay) for the same price as the i5 4440.

AMD's current market. Extreme budget rigs+video editing on a budget. Also, overclock that FX 4300 to 5.3GHz and it'll only be just slower than my stock i5 4440...which needs only the stock cooler, any old LGA1150 motherboard+any old ATX PSU.

Uh....no. Even an Athlon 860K is better. And you can keep on dreaming about your FX 4300 outperforming my i5 4440-that's never going to happen.

i sayd it was worth it for the price it half the price of your cpu and my cpu and including the beasty cooler xP if i would have my CPU cooler than i would overclock my CPU WWAAAYY further than now and i would be able to outperform you even on some tweakingon your CPU

http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-4460-vs-AMD-FX-4300/2310vs2879

according to this , you would need to overclock that cpu to around 6ghz to achieve performance comparable to the 4440. So a hot mess. Not to mention a 50$ cooler won't be able to cool that , without considering the cost of the motherboard

AMD Ryzen R7 1700 (3.8ghz) w/ NH-D14, EVGA RTX 2080 XC (stock), 4*4GB DDR4 3000MT/s RAM, Gigabyte AB350-Gaming-3 MB, CX750M PSU, 1.5TB SDD + 7TB HDD, Phanteks enthoo pro case
