There are more than a couple of members on this forum that really hate the US, to an almost absurd level. This was more for them.

Im proud to be an American. I have the guns too. I love our national and state parks, never in our history have we had (officially) a supreme leader, great wealth, self sustainability (almost), and a government that has had stood the test of time through kings and emporers to communism and nazism and never changed according to those trends.  Oh and the moon landings!

I love America as much as the next guy but you cant really say we have stood the test of time.  America is one of if not the youngest of the developed first world countries.

 

As for what I love about my country.

The idea of personal freedom and liberty.
