change the r9 nano to a sapphire r9 fury tri-x, lower price, better performance, cooling, and acoustics.

The rest of it is completely fine.

I would just add another stick of 8gb ram for dual channel, but looks good otherwise

Yes but the psu is a little much a 550w or 600w would work fine

I have an Anet A8 as my project printer and a i3 MK3 for when I want things to work. 

 

I extrude my own filament and haven't saved a penny yet.
