I'm guessing so. I'm not sure how optimized the engine for ArmA is.

Setup: i5 4670k @ 4.2 Ghz, Corsair H100i Cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB Ram @ 1600 Mhz, MSI Z87-GD65 Motherboard, Corsair GS700 2013 edition PSU, MSI GTX 770 Lightning, Samsung EVO 120 SSD + 2TB&1TB Seagate Barracudas, BenQ XL2411T Monitor, Sennheiser HD 598 Headphones + AntLion ModMic 4.0

so much money wasted
don't get that thermal paste(artic silver 5 or Tuniq TX-4), motherboard (get forumla), graphics card (780 lightning or Classified), get ram that actually matches with the motherboard (Vengeance Pro Red), and scrap one of the HDD for a boot SSD (840 Evo) and maybe a better case for that price

i7 is overkill as is 16gb ram a titan is overpriced and unnecessary the motherboard is overkill also at your budget you should definitely get an ssd also just get a 4670k and a z87 mobo with 8gb ram and a 7970 or 780 if you really need it for 1080p that will max out anything

Not optimized, get 4820k, 2011 mobo, h100i, SSD, 780 (or wait for 9xxx), get 860i for link and more upgradability!

Getting a 4820k and a 2011 mobo is a waste of money linus even said in a recent video the only benefits to a 4820k is being able to have more ram and for gaming it is just throwing money away

do you have a link that doesn't need to be crossfired,i would prefer not to if i don't have to

Crossfire is AMD and Sli is Nvidia.

You don't have to as it would be overkill. The link I provided is plenty and you don't need to spend so much money for a pc to play arma.

There's no point getting an i7 for arma.

Also, a Titan won't perform any better than the 780 for 1080p gaming.

The Titan and 780 are both a bad value for 1080p gaming. A 7970/770 are better valued cards that already max out almost everything at 1080p.

Paying more won't really help nor is it a smart idea. Arma isn't as gpu heavy as it is cpu heavy.

The link I provided above will do the same job for almost half the price.

Games don't really take advantage of Hyperthreading even if they can use that many cores. Cores and threads are not the same thing.

Like I said, an i7 won't really have any benefit over the i5. If you want more cores, yo'd want to get a 8350.

He meant as in upgrading from 3960k! Not from 1150! It offers more pci lanes for 3 way or 4 way sli!

Double check everything, I am usually wrong.
