I have an unused HP Prolaint dl180 g5 and i have an absurdly fast internet connection(for my style yes) 130 down and 30 up. I don't know if we have much bandwith so here come my questions:

-does folding need much bandwith?

-is there any kind of cool visual effect?

-is there some kind of full os for folding? like an iso, or do I first need to install linux?

-will I get one of those badges?

that where my questions can anyone help me?

Eh WOW but any answers?

Yeah I mean you could definitely use it for folding but it's mostly just a background process that runs. I don't know if you wanted to have a monitor on all the time or what.

As for getting a badge I think you'd need a massive server farm to make any significant progress to gain enough "points" to qualify for a badge.

I'm sure someone else will comment with more accurate information.

Getting a badge just requires time. Its not something too difficult, if i had folding on my PC on 24/7 id get it in about 2 weeks.

Planning on trying StarCitizen (Highly recommended)? STAR-NR5P-CJFR is my referal link

Not really. So long as yiu are an LTT member, you can easily get the member badge with just a few WUs. The bronze badge would also be cake to get if you had a GPU.
