Minecraft 60fps

Waterspear65

Hello, I recently built a gaming pc with an r9 390 and an i5 4690k but when I occasionally play minecraft, I am not able to get above 60fps no matter how low my settings are. My fps is capped at 100. I am not sure what could be causing this as my pc should easily be able to get over 60fps on minecraft.

did you remove the FPS cap in the settings?

Also if allocating more ram doesnt work, try playing around with settings such as vsync, vbos, and if you're willing to sacrifice some graphics, render distance and smooth lighting

I tried to allocate more ram and change settings but having the lowest settings and the the highest setting doesn't seem to make a difference.

Is your drivers updated?  Sounds like one of the most repetitive questions but there ya go

Did you plug your monitor into your Dedicated gpu or inside the mobo?

Did you put on high performance for your computer?

BTW minecraft is one of dem fairly badly optimized games out there for pc

Don't call me a nerd, it makes me look slightly smarter than you
