(BTW, I'm a PC noob, if something is obvious, sorry)

I recently took out my power cable, and put it back in a week later, as soon as I booted up my PC, I had problems with Internet, it would connect but have no internet access, so I fiddled around with the wifi adapter to no avail until I pulled it out and put it in again. After I did this, it went to a black screen with a red triforce-like thing. It said I had installed a new cpu (I hadn't) and to go into configuration settings, I did, and went quickly back to Windows with save and quit without making any changes. I did that, and now it isn't registering my adapter at all, acting like it has to be Ethernet. I don't know what to do now, I can give any specs as requested.

Any help would be appreciated,

Many thanks
