Need help coding a blogger blog (HTML/ CSS)

Hi everyone

So, I recently got an opportunity to help out coding a blog. Only problem is, I'm not good in HTML.

I'm assuming this shouldn't be too hard. I have a render of what we want it to look like. We basically want a Twitter feed on the right side, and a section for blog posts on the left. Also, a header above with links.

We want it to have a very nice material-design look to it as well.

Honestly, for a blog you're better off sticking with something like WordPress.

 

But if you're insistent on making it yourself, I'd be willing to help somewhat. Here's an example of what I've done.

While it isnt generally accepted as a practical place to learn coding, id say hop over to Code Academy to learn the basics of html and css
