Hi guys.

So, I know it would sound crazy,,, Well it is still for me.

My working place's Ethernet connection shows that I'm in the USA, although I'm living in another country...

So when I'm connected to Steam, it won't let me buy stuff, since "my location isn't correct"...

What should I do? :(

It's the only place I've got Ethernet...

Yoker.

I mean, for starters you could stop using Steam at work; given that's not what work is for. There's plenty of other places you can get internet.

Is your workplace using a VPN connection to a central office (e.g., your branch office is in another country, but a VPN is used so everyone has access to the same local resources)?

If so, then there is not much you can do other than connecting to another VPN service which will set the country back to where you are.

PS, it is easy to spot VPN traffic, so if the IT staff look for that kind of stuff, they will find it.
