Youtube lag windows 10

Hi,

 

I have chrome for windows 10 with adblock plus. I can play videos very smoothly in 60fps, but when I am typing the text lags, clicking on a playlist is very laggy. I have a 5820K, 980Ti two way SLI and 16GB quad channel RAM? How come, since my friend's 7 year old PC with a Core 2 Quad and a GT610 can handle it...
