F a good surge suppressor. Id buy a UPS, mine kicks over to battery when it detects a surge. My dad has a tester that you plug in to an outlet to test if its wired correctly, have you check to make sure its wired correctly? Have you replaced the outlet? Its not hard, Ive done it, just make sure you turn the breaker off. Do you know what is on t he circuit? For example I blew out a hard drive when my air conditioner compressor kicked on one time. So do you have any thing that could put huge demand on the circuit? Are you sure this is the only room you are having issues in?

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Given that OP can hardly form a sentence i'd say he's probably not fit to do any electrical work.

1: K..

2: Try their PSU at your house.

3. Try the new one that you got and tested at your friends house, in your own home.

4. Try it. You have no idea how common DOA parts are. Hint: VERY.  It's the only way to eliminate your house being the problem, and given that your PS4 is plugged in and working, it's insanely unlikely that it's your house.
PS4 power brick is not magic, it's made of the exact same components as your PC PSU.

Hush young one.

Again, PS4 power brick is not magic..

P.S: PUNCTUATION PLEASE GOOD GOD.

1 kk

2 no that would cause to much trouble and kill their psu

3 i know the outcome

4 3/3 i highly doubt it

5 he was being a smart ass

6 the ps4 uses 150watts max so its not really a benchmark

You don't know the outcome or you wouldn't be here.
Hire an electrician and close the thread if you're going to be uncooperative and rude to the people helping you.

I had to go through 5 RMAs on my WD Black drive before I got a working one, 3 DOA's is entirely possible and not that unlikely.

What?

Have you not read any of @TDP_Equinox posts? /s

He was actually helping you find the route cause of the problem.

However, you gave up testing.

You need to listen to what people are saying, stop being rude, and actually test what needs to be tested.

Good luck and all, but don't ask for help if you're not going to take it.
