My old pc, with an nzxt h440, died last year. I loved that case, but now I want a smaller case.

I´m looking for a mATX or ITX case, I would really really apreciate if you guys could help me.

Here the facts:

- I like clean cases (Like the Define S), only one big front chainber, no front drives bay

- I like veeery big windows

- I prefer mini tower based cases

- I prefer the premium ones

For now, for lack of options, I am going with the Phanteks enthoo ITX, but I rather want an exactly copy of the Phanteks enthoo ATX on a mATX form factor

I´m aware of the Phanteks mATX, but that cut down windows reeealy bothers me. You can get rid of the lateral ssd mounts and get a clean look, but I would need to cut bigger windows

My first choice, for lack of options

http://www.phanteks.com/Enthoo-Evolv-ITX.html

What I want, a smaller exact copy of Phanteks enhoo evolv ATX

http://www.phanteks.com/Enthoo-Evolv-ATX.html

My ideal case would be the Phantels enthoo evolv mATX with that cut out window, exactly of the envolv atx (It would be nice too if it have a front IO Panel, not damn bad lateral panel IO)

What you guys suggest to me. Any exotic brand? Should I buy a Phantek enthoo mATX and find someone to enlarge the window? Or Stop beeing so picky and get the less premium and less spacious Phantek ITX?

In advance, Thank You very much for the help

Thanks for the fast reply. I´m aware of that, but the modvent is terrible for me that will use the top ventilation. The exterior top portion of the case will be very ugly. I could use te matx version and use a dustfilter to hide the ugly exterior, but the matx version is diferent from the itx and atx, and don´t have a clean interior, full of drive bays

I would just use it with the vent on

three radiators are more than enough for a mITX system :) and the top looks better with the cover on

You could mount radiators and such in the front of the case and just do rear exhaust while keeping the top shut. It's one of the most common configurations for its big brother.

If you're willing to dive into custom sleeving the EVGA Hadron as absolutely stunning and is as small and clean as you can get in a computer case. You just have to be careful with what cooler you choose. The only fault I've found with that case is the horrible sleeving job that EVGA did on the PSU.

you would mount it in the front instead of the top
or build a custom loop with a 280 and 120mm rad instead of buying a premade aio

The h220 x2 shouldn´t be mounted on the front of the case. I need to be mounted on the top... that´s the problem. And i really love the swiftech h220, now h220 x2

it will not fit in the top

the res will interfere with the motherboard and other components

it needs to be in the front

where you read it from? Because it´s reservoir is very lateral, so I never heard of that problem.... And that no point in buying so expensive AIO to be monted in the front....

have you not seen the images? the res is huge

thats definitely not going to fit above the motherboard in a mITX case

and why can you not put it in the front?? the performance is even better if you put it in the front, and you can still see it easily through the window...

Throw the aio in the front instead... You don't need top fans as well.

Also not that I think it's an amazing solution, but how is the vent ugly when open? (I threw some black foam board up in there to make sure it wasn't letting dust in and it looks really good irl, but to each their own).

Thank you guys for the helpfull coments. But I think that if I don´t find someone in canada to laser cut the phanteks matx, I will go with the ITX insted, even tho its not aluminium... like that, but maibe white exterior:

I would check out Lian Li, they got just about everything you are looking for.

This is just a selection of what I think will fit you.

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.

I know all the lian li cases. I love those cubic big ones. But the cubic size will not fit into the size I have to travel with in the plane. I will bring this to brazil :(. I relly liked the o series, thank you for your suggestion. The 6S version seens promission to me, supporting mATX AND the h220 x2 with 2 120mm... I just need to figure out how to mount the 120mm radioator of the 980 ti waterforce.

Any new case should be pretty clean if it's not pre-owned.

I think that I'll go with the o series 5S itx, use the silverstone 800w 80+ titanium sfx psu, the h220 x2 prestige, a gigabyte g1 980 ti and buy a custom water block for the GPU to use with the h220x.... I will see the price and compatibility

Link to post

It will add 40 dollars more for the sfx psu, 50 to get a full cable sleeve kit rather can partial kit, 200 more for the case,  it costs 300 :'(...  More 120 for the waterblock for the gpu,  and i will save 70 dollars for going with a g1 instead of the waterforce...

The pc will go from 2.200 dollars to almost 2600 :'(.  I will check my situation,  but I think I will get this "case"  (kkkkk, pun)  as close. OR I will go with the PC O 5S OR the Phanteks evolv ITX

Thank you guys for the suggestions
