Hello,

I'm quoting an upcoming build for a client which is the following :

My client manifested the desire of bringing down the cost a bit for the watercooling portion and I am wondering if I can replace the D5 with top and reservoir by a DarkSide 150ml DDC Reservoir-Pump Top Combo with DDC pump. Would a DDC pump have enough pressure head to circulate fluid through all that ?

Regards,

yes the DDC will be enough

it will just be louder

and make sure that the combo has a metal DDC housing, or the pump will overheat

Thanks for the info. This aligns with something I've heard a few times in the past.

Would something like this (https://www.dazmode.com/store/product/heat_sink_for_pmp-400_ddc_pump/) inder the DDC pump to be installed in its res+pump top combo (see photo below.
