low pain tolerance?

i messed With a guy in my class (2 meters tall, strong as a tank) and he tossed me a cross the classroom and started throwing Chairs at me but it didnt hurt? (i normaly have an extremely low pain tolerance) why the f*ck am i not on the floor crying? (also, him and i are friends, no reason to worry, Things are smooth again)

Adrenaline Rush. Your body was scared so it numbed you to be cocky and fight back.

Probably just adrenaline. I have a pretty low pain tolerance as well. But back when i was doing martial arts i could take a hit because of it

Adrenaline, in moments like that the body releases so much that the pain is basically non existent, although don't worry it will catch up to you the next day

I would refer you to have a read of an old thread of mine. Besides the effects of adrenaline, pain is just a state that one may learn to ignore.

Adrenaline will do that to a person. I smashed my cheek on the smooth corner of the kitchen countertop when I passed out and stumbled backwards into it. I was bleeding profusely down my face and into my ear when I woke up ten seconds later. I was rushed to the emergency room, stitched up and sent on my way. During none of that time did I feel any pain. Beyond adrenaline, your body has other painkillers that it'll dump into your bloodstream if something really nasty happens.
