I know this is not recommended but would like to know your thoughts on this.

I currently have a 8 plug surge protector and a 4 plug power bar and they are currently plugged into 2 separate power outlets, however I want to move my PC and my power cable is not long enough to reach the surge protector in its current location so I was considering moving it to where my power bar is and running the power bar out of the surge protector.

The devices I currently have that use these are;

PC (surge protector)

2x Monitors (surge protector)

PS4 (Power Bar)

Speaker system (Power Bar)

Please let me know your thoughts on this.

It's fine. as long as you're not making spaghetti out of power cables. But I don't think it would be very dangerous in your case.
