It was a bit of a joke, but I mean it depends on what gpu your running now. its well worth it to wait if you can

In that case, its either ride it out for around 3 more months playing modern warfare 1 and counterstrike for the 9950. or buy the 7950 now

I wouldn't think the 9950 would be that cheap as the 7950 so if you have more than $200, I would get the 9000 series cards. If you only are limited to $200, I would get the 7950.

7870 or 7950

 

The thing is with the 9xxx cards, they are going to be expensive at launch. NOT overpriced, but still expensive. AMD just got finished investing a lot of money into the cards and they have to make a profit from them so they can stay in business. Therefore, the 9000s are going to be full price for at least another 4-5 months if history is an indicator of price. IMO, I would wait until this time next year to get a 9xxx card because then they will be cheaper. So for right now, I would go for a 7870 (which is my personal favorite card ever because of price:performance).

 

I always get 1 generation behind what the current best one is because it is a nice way to save a lot of money and get good performance.

I get 60 frames at 1080p on a dual core APU. Ask me how.

7870 xt or 7950 or wait. I had a 6450 before, play aion you can that quite well.
