ram that leaves corsair domianator standing

ok so ive spent the day comparing ram when my friend that's big on computer put me onto this ram saying that its cheap can be over clocked just as good and is 18% faster

so I was wondering if his maths stands up ?

the maths

first this is how he told me to compare different ram's you take the MHz and divide it by the first latacy number because this is the first dim in quad channel and will be the dim doing most of the work you could keep dividing it by the 2nd 3rd and them the 4th if you want to be mega precise but all you really need to do is it by the first dim

can some one tell me if this maths is correct ?
