Well, first of all I haven't checked his profile to see if he's an unexpirienced user, and second of all I don't know if that the advice that I gave was any good.

1. He is a very experienced user.

2. Yes it was. In particular, "  it's just a DSP that muffles some sounds in a specific way in order to trick your brain that the sounds are coming from behind. You can actually download a Dolby DSP that does the same thing for free. " was excellent. There is a sticky here about that somewhere, but nobody reads it. I don't know the hd330 very well, but I'm fairly familiar with the 668b's. I choose to not comment on the choice between the two, since I blatantly don't know.

No need to feel embarrassed at all :P

I agree, but you can customise the sound to fit your needs and music.

I would rahter just have pair of headphones that fits the use, so I don't have to use programs or get tube amps or normal amp that color my sound.

And guys I think I fixed that M50 problem where the it feels like the driver it up against your ear, I just put some big ass ear pads on them and I found some pads I could put in them so there was a thicker layer of foam (I don't know what it is called) they sound pretty good now.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M
