So, yesterday I was tinkering with some virtual machines, and I noticed that some keys do not work. I thought at first that it was a software problem, so I used a method that works in 99% of cases-reboot. But, the problems still appeared. So i restarted again, but in BIOS. And the problems were still there. Now I would normally just throw the keyboard in the trashcan (or in my friend's Mac Pro) and buy a new one, but there's one little problem. It's a laptop keyboard.

So, is there any way of fixing this or I just need to go to the repair shop for the second time?

You could either get a new keyboard, and plug it into the USB port on the laptop (although that makes it a lot less portable), get it (hopefully) repaired in a repair shop or by yourself, or use a on screen keyboard (it takes ages to type though)

Also, just to be sure that its not software related, change your keyboard layout in the language and keyboard settings

Thanks, it is 100% not software related, since Enter and Backspace don't work :P

EDIT: I will probably get a cheapo 10$ keyboard.
