Posted February 2, 2016 I'm guessing you have the two drives reversed, as a SATA3 SSD would never have 1400MBps read. And to actually answer the question, no probably not. I like my 950 Pro M.2 because it loads everything (including all programs and games and game levels) so quickly, but for most it's not worth the extra cost. Better to get a larger SATA SSD. Posted February 2, 2016 No. PCIe storage is NOT worth it. For almost everyone, and certainly no one who is thinking about value. Posted February 2, 2016 You can spend less, stripe two SSDs, achieve very similar speeds and have more storage. If you're working with very very limited physical space, it could be worth it if you're bottle necking your current SSD.
 Posted February 2, 2016 Only reason to get an m.2 for games, are if you are downloading several games a week and your SSD cant keep up with your internet speed. Other then that, so is it not worth it. I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.
