Has anyone ever thought about using hydro dipping for mods to either cases or any other component?

Hydro dipping is possible but you need to usually need the chemicals and proper decal/film material to float in a bath to do so, not to mention experience with complex parts.

69$ on mydipkit.com

pretty sure you need a really big tub to dip an entire PC case
and to get an actual design on it you need to print the design, not just "camo" spatters randomly all over the place

Before they moved to the new forum, I was thinking, the staff should make W-L as a mod, he help out A LOT. and he should be "certified in mods" like how other are certified in networking and such

Yeah but if you were dipping your motherboard heat sinks and GPU shroud in say a carbon fibre design that would look pretty dope.
