Hey, so i have a notebook with a switchable graphics intel HD 4000 and a dedicated AMD Radeon HD 7570M, however they don't like to switch during games... every time i reinstall or update drivers they work fine and then a few days later... Nope no switching i run NZXT CAM and the games always choose the intel 4000 over the amd 7570M.

Any tips on forcing/ manually choosing the GPU's?

True... but idk lol. Maybe google your notebooks model and see what people say about the switchable graphics.

AMD A8-7600    G. Skill Ripjaws Z @1800 CAS 8     EVGA 500w 80+ PSU    Gigabyte GAF2A68HM-DS2H Motherboard

first thing i did.... absolutely nothing helpful other than the fact that driver update are suckish it suppose to be configurable through amd catalyst control center......... but it crashes 100% of the time *yayyy* :(

nVidia uses 'Optimus' to automatically switch to the GPU when a graphics intensive program is running.

AMD must have a similar feature (I hope), maybe try reinstalling/updating your GPU drivers.

Well, it seems like your GPU drivers are a bit out of date.

Catalyst control center became Radeon Settings with the Crimson update some time ago.

i kno i didn't update because some users of my gpu had overheating problem with that update (to the point of damage.) i was waiting for a bug fix release. plus this driver version worked perfectly before idk what happens to cause it not to switch.

The problem was it was locking the GPU fan at 20% RPM, which was fixed in an update soon after.

I'd say updating the drivers is probably your most solid lead to work on at the min - unless there's anything you are aware you changed, that you could revert.

i think i wasn't clear this isn't a new issue this always happened since i bought the laptop, i just lived with it kept reinstalling drivers etc never played much on my laptop i just wondered if there was a way to prioritize one gpu. basically now trying to look for a solution to a  2 year old problem....

i'll update the driver and see if that works hopefully doesn't make it worse.
