Ok thanks man!

Last question.

What if the game doesnt have a mute/volume type thing for music? Just dont record that one?

You can still record it, and you might get a copyright claim, but thats ok, you just cant monetize the video
nothing bad happens to your channel

youtube has a feature that you can remove copyrighted music if it gets a copyright claim, but i dont think it works too well if you are commentating over the audio

I would like to do some gameplay/commentary of some videos games. First question being can you do this for all games? ( excluding Nintendo)  or do you have to ask permission from the publishers?

I have a blue yeti pro mic, should I use that? or use a mic built into my headset? I feel that the Blue yeti pro mic might pick up some unwanted noises sense its so sensitive (me typing)

Any other advice?

Do you mean music as in GTA 5 while driving? Or music as in like orchestra/background/atmosphere type music

Live com. If I ever comment over the gameplay I'll use the blue yeti for sure

both

some games wont have it copyrighted, if you want to search it up for each game you can probably find out if it is or not

but if unsure then turn all music off to be safe

i mean for youtube yeah it can be annoying to hear a keyboard. but if you live streamed what i find is way easier and usually better because it's live interaction with viewers no one cares about keyboard noise.
