Cannot choose default thread notification preferences

I'm getting notification spammed. 

My old settings had

-auto follow topics, no notifications. I turned this off after getting  between 500-1000 a day. 

-notifications for status updates and replies 

-notifications if someone quotes me (never worked)

-notifications if someone mentioned me 

-notifications if someone like post 

 

Now, in addition to getting tons of notifications for topic replies, there's no setting to make that off by default and I can't change my old ones more than 25 at a time. 

 

I don't know if this is a lacking feature in IP Board 4, and if it is I understand it would take some time to fix. But I really believe this needs a fix in the long term, it will really really annoy very actives users like me.

It turns out that the problems I had on my account with seeing the whole forum that @colonel_mortis caused this as well? 

I looked it up, and the settings exist. I typed the link in directly and got it. Clearing cache made the button appear in my settings

Shouldn't have made any difference at all, but if it's working now then it's fine.

I have no idea why the button was gone. Now I'm actually thinking it was a plugin of mine, stylish, applying fixes for the old forum. Oops lol
