Best Coolants?

Hello, I am about to do my first custom liquid cooling loop, and I need some help finding the best coolants.  I have heard Linus recommend using plain distilled water and a biocide and then use colored tubing.  However, does anyone have a recomendation on a coolant that possibly contains a biocide, anti-corosive, or a lubricant for the pump? And if the fluid is translucent, do you have a recomendation on a dye?

For transparent colored fluids I would recommend Mayhem's X1 or EKWB EVO fluid, both them will have all the needed additives for the loop.

I use EK's EVO premix fluid. So far it's held up and I haven't had any issues with it.

I too use EKs EVO premix fluid. It lasted over 3 years before i needed to clean the loop and its been going well for the last year or so.

Mayhem's Aurora!   Its not a good option if you are looking for a low maintenance coolant but it is freaking sweet

Apparently that stuff is just meant for show and can be dangerous if you use it 24/7

It's been improved a lot since it first came out. It's not for every system but a basic loop with a strong pump can keep it going for a year or longer without issue according to Mayhems

Ah, okay I used to be nervous about it because I saw a lot of stories about it blocking the loop.
