That's not your BIOS. That's just a partition for the bootloader.

Is this normal?

its the vfat drive (second one) Im on Ubuntu 14.04

never really knew about it until yesterday

Isn't that a partition of your drive which can be used for system restore? I'm not really sure because I don't use any Apple systems.
