I just got me a AX1200i, but I soon found out that the two 8-pin EPS cables were to short to reach the top of the mohterboard routed behind the mb tray. As I really wanted to get things going, I decided to make cable extensions. I had all the stuff laying around, except the female connectors, so I had to find a different way to isolate all the terminals from each other...

I only had this Sellotape, I guess its called in English...

I only had this Sellotape, I guess its called in English...

We call it scotch tape over in the West. But it looks good for what it is :) You gotta do what you gotta do to get things to work.

why would you need insulation tape? just don't touch it! and's its only 12, 5 or 3.3 volts, but a deadly amperage.

The pins could short each other, causing some big problems.
