Gaming will be some fairly intense stuff, Heavily modded Minecraft (actually quite intense on RAM), Guild Wars, Some Sims, etc.

You should be fine as those aren't hugely demanding, even though Minecraft can be a hog. Just don't be expecting max everything and shaders.
