This is a question direct at those 6700K owners.

In particular your OC voltages.

I have a 6700K and a ROG Maximus board so would like to hear what OC your getting and at what voltage.

Using the 5 way optimization from ASUS im able to get 4.7 no probs, however the voltage seems a little high (around the 1.4).

1.4v is fine on skylake, it has higher voltage tolerance & lower temps vs haswell.

I'd say check out this thread:

My 6700K runs at 1.42v 4.7Ghz all the time. I've even had 1.5v 4.9Ghz for a few days which was still only peaking at mid 80s under OCCT Linpak. Can't quite achieve the magical 5Ghz though.

Main Rig:-

Server:-

Intel NUC running Server 2019 + Synology DSM218+ with 2 x 4TB Toshiba NAS Ready HDDs (RAID0)
