First Time Builder, Need recommendations

Crozzy

So this will be my first ever PC build.

It would be generally used for every day stuff.

I don't game at all on mine at the minute but that's because even if I wanted to I couldn't as my specs are awful.

I want to get into gaming a bit more on PC rather than just console but It would only be occasionally.

As for the games I am generally a FPS person.

I have a budget of about £800 give or take.

I have two builds that I have put together, any advice on either of these is more than welcome.

Thanks in advance.

For the second build, I super recommend a K CPU. You can OC it when it becomes a bottle neck (which is a long time from now) but if you're on a budget, I'd rather spend more now and less later.

I wouldn't be overclocking so the stock cooler should be fine? Then upgrade later on?

Could any of you advise on how to save any money on the 2nd build?

I went for 1 stick of 8gb RAM so I can upgrade cheaper in the long run.

Is the graphics card over kill for this system or is that about right?

Yer I wouldn't be overclocking, so 2nd build is the best one is there any way I could save an extra bit of money on any of the parts?

I would try and get windows a bit cheaper but thats the best deal I have found so far, maybe a cheaper SSD (still want it 120gd).

Now I just need to save up, almost there should be able to start building either Feb or march.
