I'm shopping for an U.P.S.

MACGYVR

Im looking for a decent ups at a fair price.

 

It will be used for the following

one pc with a 300watt psu

one 24" monitor

one dvd duplicator

one dvd recorder

one 40 watt pa amplifier

and in the future a basic projector

 

thats about it.

 

thanks for any actual suggestions

It would depend on what projector you get since they can be fairly high power, but system specs can give a more accurate power draw. For all of that though I would recommend something like this which is larger than you need but can accommodate future needs.

Id prob look into building one yourself with a car battery. 

that wouldn't necessarily be cheaper, so i dont know about that.

huh i didnt know that. I knew they had some overly priced but decent pc's. thanks for suggestion

From my understanding they aren't related, two different companies, but cyberpower has some UPS for a good value.

I was thinking more along the terms of capacity. A car battery would provide a lot more power than a typical UPS.

oh ok gotcha. well, i cant do anything that looks sketchy in others eyes because it is at a building i dont own.

 

but i could see how a car batt. might provide some benefits.
