Will probably depend on the genre unless the label covers a multitude of genres (including the categories that your songs are in.)

I believe most record labels have different genres, so submit to every one of them. For a record label to only support 1-2 types of music is the opposite of what they are trying to do, and that is to sign the best artists of every genre and make money off of them.
