So this is what i need answering.

i been a laptop user for around 4-5 years now and i always know what to do with my OEM Windows.

but recently this 2015 i bought a Windows 10 Home. when i replace my current HDD with and SSD and inserted a Windows Installation USB copy of Microsoft website. it never ask me my License Key and when i check it was activated correctly.

Now my current question is this i currently build a PC with no OS, Just use the Windows 10 Pro Trial period now my question is if i purchase my License Key which i will after the 30 Days. But before i do currently this was a Budget Build to start of my question is this if i ever replace my MoBo like in the 3rd or 4th quarter of the year, will i be required to purchase a new product key for the new MoBo or can i use the recently purchase Key?

"The build i have currently"

CPU: Intel G3258

MoBo: MSI H81M-P33

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB

"Next Upgrade will be Skylake build or i5-4690K"

so i need a new MoBo but will use the SSD.

Hope someone can help me with this.

The Windows 10 license is registered with your hardware, so any change in that area will deactivate your license. Either write down your current key before changing your mobo, or call Microsoft like techguru said and they should issue you a new one.
