Flow direction in a loop

How to determine the flow direction in a hardline(copper) loop ??As this CPU block requires one opening as an inlet and other as an outlet??

Look at the outlet from the pump, then follow it from there. 

 

ASAIK, the CPU block doesn't actually require it to flow that way, it's just the ideal way to have it.

it is kinda big deal. wrong direction for this block means less cooling efficiency.

GPUs are not as susceptible to flow direction (yet).

 

Not true.  EK's current GPU waterblocks uses the same design as their CPU blocks (with a jet plate), so it's directional.  A lot of brands it probably doesn't matter, but if it's not acrylic you'd have to take it apart to tell.
