is there is any wrong with my computer -how to fix it -

sometimes when for example i open file explorer or want to delete something from my recycle bin

it waits for my hard drive to wake up until the computer respond

 

even i have my os installed on my samsung 850 eo ssd

games and media on my hard drives

when i installed my windows 10 only the ssd was plugged in

 

also I can hear the drives go to sleep after some time.

It's a power saving feature for the HDD under power options. Mine does it as well. If I use my SSDs software and enable custom power options(Samsung High Performance), my HDD doesn't sleep. I'd rather it chill out if its not being used so I leave it as it is.

It should not, to my knowledge hurt them unless you have them running 24/7, to run all the time when your computer is on.

 

In other words no, just don't leave your computer on all the time.

When you open Explorer, it's trying to gather information on all your drives, not just your SSD.

If you have Green drives, they will be spinning down and parking, so theres a slight delay for them to spin back up.

 

If its an excessive wait time, you may want to run some diagnostics on your hdd's. Check the SMART info, and try a speed test on the disks (with something like HD Tune)

the delay is only 1 to 1 and a half second and only when my hard drives sleep
