i bet scotland is glad they didnt declare independence. a lot of the people calling for independence were counting on the off shore oil reserves to stabilize their economy 

Yes, I am from Scotland.  There were a lot of idiots that really didn't know what independence actually means.  I would have hands down voted no.  I mean, seriously... do they have any idea how much of a gamble that is?

What do you guys think of the dollar so low? I think the other countries in NATO and the UN should help us. If this continues Canada will be nearly bankrupt in some provinces. Someone needs to deal with OPEC, $25 a barrel of oil? All of our figures of oil are basically gone now. I think its unfair for the people who aren't in a buisness. What do you guys think?

It is $25 a barrel when bought in built as the barrel is not included and is just a measurement they use. You can't go to OPEC say here is $25 and buy a barrel of oil. The barrel would cost more in steal. Yet gas prices aren't any lower which is weird as when oil was this cheap it was around 70 cents or less
