Nyaamaste!

I've just put together my new computer, The Apkallu: Sardines Flying Everywhere. It has a ASUS Maximus VIII Hero motherboard, which has a Realtek sound card onboard. Windows 10 doesn't recognize the sound card, and no matter how many times I "uninstall" the card from the Device Manager, reboot and install the audio drivers from ASUS's website (even tried straight from Realtek)... no dice.

I get a "No Audio Output Device is Installed" with a red cross over the speaker icon in the bottom right hand side corner. I've tried disconnecting the optical cable, inserting the headphones in the headphone jack. No dice.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
