Does maya uses cuda cores?

Planning for new pc with either gtx 970 or r9 390.

Max> 900$

 

Purpose: 3d ,video editing,gaming

3D ? no, Lighting with mantel ? yes, Dynamics ? maybe. (all in maya)
gaming ? yes
Video editing ? what video editing software? does it allow it ? do you have a cuda licensed workstation quadros card ?

 

Edit : you'd want a nvidia card for cuda performance.

micro atx if you can swing it, but i recommend a mid tower

Edit : you'd want a nvidia card for cuda performance. 

For compositing work too with nuke.I don't have much idea but I guess few of it's nodes use it.And I don't have quadro.

you can select cuda cores for rendering passes on nuke as well.
