True but some games don't utilise SLI/XFire. Might as well get two 980Tis.

But then you end up having to spend more on your display assuming you were going adaptive sync which you probably should at this budget.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Sure, there's a premium. But the 980Ti still performs better than all GPUs (aside from the occasional benchmark/game). It's worth it.

Really comes ahead with an OC, but I dunno man, AMD seems to have the edge for the now near future as more DX12 stuff comes out.

Not so much for Fiji... Previous architectures, yes.

Besides, the incorporation of DirectX12 will be very slow. The 980Tis should suit OP for now.

Nice, be sure to post it in the Build Logs section for everyone to see!

Now I just need clarification, Do i need to buy any extra fans? How big should the SLI bridge be (Short/Long) and where can i get one for cheap or at a low price? With the CPU water cooler do i need any thing else to make it work? I'm not a expert at water cooling so bare with me. And is there ANYTHING else I would need for this build?

by the way i may not be able to respond anytime soon because i'm currently in the middle of a blizzard so i apologize if I take a while to reply.

The SLI bridge should be a 2 way, and it usually comes with the motherboard.

Nope, just install it on the CPU and mount it on the side or top of the case and screw it in.

Fans are optional. I think the case already has great airflow so you don't have to really worry about it.

Nope, that's all you need. Not counting a keyboard and mouse.
