As the title states, I need a recommendation on a good E-ATX case. But I have a few requirements.

1. The case must be black or mostly black.

2. It must have a minimum of 2 5.25" drive bays to accommodate my card reader and bay drawer.

3. I really would like a front panel door such as the Fractal Define R5 to cover the previously mentioned expansion bays. Let's be honest, they're ugly as hell.

4. It must have a side panel window. I plan to show off the Maximum viii formula when it comes out. I'm going all out on this build since I can finally afford it.

I've spent days looking for the right case but with my schedule I just don't have the time to keep looking on my own. It's a shame the Define R5 isn't E-ATX compatible.

The R4 is , officially it's not but an E-ATX board will fit, the board will cover the cable slots but the cables can be routed around the end of the board.

Yes it is. And it's a great case but there are just some things about it I just don't like. For example the fact that the door opens to the left while I always place my pc to the right or that the SSD mounts on the back of the motherboard tray require you to remove the board if you need to swap, install, or remove them. So far it looks like I might have to settle on the R4 but I really don't want to.

There's also the NZXT H630 https://www.nzxt.com/products/h630-white but it doesn't come default with a side panel window. It has to be purchased seperately

just some things about it I just don't like. For example the fact that the door opens to the left while I always place my pc to the right or that the SSD mounts on the back of the motherboard tray require you to remove the board if you need to swap, install, or remove them. So far it looks like I might have to settle on the R4 but I really don't want to.

The door thing seems unsurmountable beyond removing it entirely or never opening it (these solutions seem a bit extreme to me).

The SSDs can be mounted in the 3.5" bays with the supplied sleds if you insist on having them screwed down or virtually anywhre else (even in the back of the MoBo tray position)with velcro/two sided tape/WHY.

Personal aside :-

I have an R5 with a card reader occupying one of the 5.25 slots as I thought I would take the cards out of my cameras all the time but I find that as I conect via USB to charge the cameras can read the cards then, so the card reader gets MINIMAL use, also I have a DVD reader/writer thing in amother slot as a 'just in case' measure I wish I had gone with some sort of external drive as I have pretty much never used it (would simplify the wiring and improve the air flow a bit [OK neither of those are  needed as I have a solid side panel so looks aren't of the greatest import but it bugs me knowing these 'improvements can be made]) and so the door is virtually never opened.  If it wasn't for the 'it doesn't really matter to me' aspect would remove these two items in a heartbeat. About the only time I do open the door is to get at the fan control as some of the case fans are controlled from it I very much appreciate silence so usually have these fans down low but if I am taxing the system like to be able to have the ability to turn these fans up (no biggie if I forget as the rest of the fans are driven/controlled from the MoBo) .

NB Have lots of fans (5case 1 CPU cooler) running at slow speeds  rather than a few running at 100% to help rediuce noise

OH the door opening thing would be fine with me as the computer sits to my left but this is not your case (<see what I did there?).  :)
