I am doing a build for someone and they said I can do whatever I want with his GPU as long as I finish it in time (obviously without breaking it).

I will have about 30 minutes to play around with his R9 390 soon, so I wanted to try out dual R9 390s to see what kind of frames and usage I get, because I was thinking about upgrading for real (I have a spare 1000W PSU).

Can anyone run me down on how to CrossFire, or is it automatic? Kind of tight time frame so I want to set it up as quick as possible.

Note: When he said do whatever you want, he agreed to me using it in my own PC so no worries

i think you should have those gold fingers and some kind of CrossFire bridge connected, right?

Just pop the 2nd card in and launch Crimson it should auto-magically detect it and offer you to set up CrossFire, from there you just tick the box and launch the game

Your 750W is more than enough for 390 CF

AMD has changed the cf config. No need for a cf bridge, It's all done via the PCI-E now.
