USB NAS card/enclosure/external drive

Sudo Chocolate

So I am thinking of using a Rasberry Pi running samba as a cheap NAS solution for my home. The main drawback is that there are only USB 2.0 ports and I want a RAID 1 configuration (2TB). Just curious of there are any external drives that automatically create a redundant array.

Also, would it be better to have two separate drives in a software array?

I know that a Pi is will not make the best NAS but it should be sufficient for some basic file storage and backup.

Thanks for any help or info.
